From small-town rooms to India's education hiring backbone
Sandeep's journey didn't begin in a VC boardroom — it started inside real coaching institutes, listening to teachers and institute owners struggle with hiring every single day.
Before building Tallento.ai, Sandeep worked deep inside the coaching ecosystem — directly in IIT-JEE & NEET institutes. He saw how talented teachers were stuck depending on references, WhatsApp forwards and middlemen to change jobs. Institutes had no structured way to hire, verify or retain the right talent.
With almost no capital, he and his co-founder started FPSJOBS from a small room in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, while still working full-time in a coaching institute. The mission was simple but ambitious: make hiring in education as serious and structured as hiring in tech.
From there, they moved to Chandigarh, took a single coworking desk, and personally pitched faculty one-by-one to install their app. It was slow, uncomfortable and very manual — but that discipline created India's largest dedicated hiring engine for teachers.

2013–2016
On-ground operator in coaching institutes
Understood the reality of teacher hiring, retention and politics from inside. Saw the massive gap between talent quality and hiring systems.
2017–2019
Launch of FPSJOBS: India's first focused education hiring platform
Started from Muzaffarpur & Chandigarh with almost no capital. Built early faculty community manually, institute by institute.
2020–2022
Scale-up: 1M+ registered users & 5,000+ clients
Expanded across IIT-JEE, NEET, K-10 schools, universities & non-teaching roles. Built in-house 100+ recruiter team and end-to-end ATS.
2023–2024
Transition to Tallento.ai & AI-first hiring stack
